Arkansas State Police have released the fatality report on a two-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Mountain View woman earlier this month.
According to the report, a 2012 Ford Escape driven by Virginia Bigalke, 94, was eastbound on State Highway 14 in Mountain View on Dec. 5, when it made a left-hand turn and collided with a westbound 2008 Dodge Charger driven by Precious Belmaras, 19, of Mountain View. Bigalke was taken to a Little Rock hospital, where she died of her injuries on Dec. 6. Belmaras was taken to the Stone County Medical Center for her injuries.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident, the report said.
