The White River Health Foundation on Tuesday announced a $500,000 contribution from First Community Bank as the lead donation for expanding White River Health’s Oncology and Infusion Center.
In a statement, White River Health said, “Their generosity and commitment to our community will have a lasting impact, helping us provide enhanced care and treatment close to home.”
The expansion aims to improve access to oncology services for patients in the region.
The announcement included representatives from both organizations (pictured above from left): Boris Dover, First Community Bank president and COO; Dr. Chris Steel, interim president and CEO of White River Health; Dale Cole, chairman and CEO of First Community Bank; Michele VanWinkle, White River Health executive director of foundation, marketing, and volunteer services; and Nicole Floyd, donor relations manager.
