In Cave City, AR, Anna Irene Davis, 91, passed away on December 14, 2024. She was born on March 31, 1933, in Newport, AR to the late Robert Emery and Ada (Davis) Emery. Anna was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed watching game shows like Family Feud, and westerns, including Gunsmoke. She also liked to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. Above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her son, Dale Davis; daughter, Virginia Davis (George); grandchildren, Tammy Casey (Bryan) of Little Rock, AR, James Davis (Stacey) of Florida, Maxine Miller of Missouri, Dawn Poucher of Michigan, Casandra Manual of Arkansas, and John Davis of Michigan; and thirty great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-eight years, Max Davis; sons, George Robert and Kenneth Max; daughter-in-law, Mary Davis; and all of her siblings.
A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 12 PM until 2 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Brother Brian Combee, will begin at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Stuart Coger, Adam Coger, Stephen Miller, Cody Hull, James Davis, Codi Davis, Ethan Davis, and John Davis. Honorary pallbearers are all of Mrs. Anna’s extended family members.
