Robert Lee Morris Sr., 67, of Tuckerman departed this life on December 25, 2024. He was born in Batesville on November 3, 1957, to Iva (Creswell) Morris Pace.
Robert enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing and hunting. He liked watching sports on T.V., and especially liked watching the Razorbacks and Nascar races. He enjoyed bowling with his friends and family as well as playing a friendly game of Phase 10 or Rook.
He was married to the love of his life Elizabeth, for 47 years. He was known for being the backbone of his family and was looked up to by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Iva Pace and his sister, Iva Jo Garner.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his sons, Robert Lee Morris Jr. and wife Jody Ann of Harrison, Craig Daniel Morris of Tuckerman, Greg Nathaniel Morris of Branson, Missouri; his daughters, Monica Lareene Tubbs and husband, Johnathan of Tuckerman, and Amy Elizabeth Brooks of Tuckerman; his sister, Linda Winningham of Bradford; his grandchildren, Kayla Brooks, Nicholas Brooks, Lexie Ratliffe, Maddie Ratliffe, Logan Tubbs, Rebecca Tubbs, Mackenzy Morris and Jaylyn Morris.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Robert Morris Jr., Craig Morris, Greg Morris, Johnathan Tubbs, Logan Tubbs, and Nicholas Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are James Weaver, Charlie Hess, Employees of Newport Sheet Metal, Kayla Brooks, Lexie Ratliffe, Maddie Ratliffe, Rebecca Tubbs, Mackenzy Morris, and Jaylyn Morris.
Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Reverand Eugene Poole officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the chapel.
