
Lisa Kay Lane, 58, of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on December 25, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on September 2, 1966, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Boyd Lane and Linda Conner Burgess.
Lisa was a woman of unwavering spirit with a heart of gold, who cherished the simple joys of life and the people she loved. A lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Lisa was often found cheering on her favorite team with passionate enthusiasm.
She found peace and joy in the great outdoors, spending her time fishing, camping, and sitting by the warmth of a fire pit. These were moments she treasured, especially when shared with family and friends. Lisa had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel valued and loved, and her laughter and stories brought light to every gathering.
Lisa’s legacy is one of love and devotion. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend, whose presence enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the time they spent with her.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, resting in eternal love.
She is preceded in death by her father, Boyd Lane; her sister, Sherri Lane; her stepfather, Gerald Burgess; her grandparents, Jack and Mildred Conner, and Luther and Willene Lane.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Burgess; her brother, Chris Lane and wife Cindy of Newport; her sister, Deana Burgess of Newport; step brother, Jerry Burgess of Newport; step-sister, Amy Goble of Newport; her aunt, Lana Brumley and her husband, Roger of Clover Bend; her nieces and nephews, Tyler Lane of Newport, Paige Robertson and husband Dylan of Newport, Dylan Jones of Newport, Jace Johnson, of Newport, Chasity Lane of Newport, Kaley Lane of Jonesboro, Brandon Johnson of Newport, Haley Bright and husband Aaron of Newport, and Lukas Pridmore of Newport.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Lane, Dylan Jones, Brandon Johnson, Aaron Bright, Lukas Pridmore, and Dylan Robertson. Honorary pallbearers are Jace Johnson, Brian Brumley, Shannon Brumley, Donnie Morgan, Darrell Woods, and Danny Woods.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Brumley officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday December 29, 2024, in the chapel.
