Ricky Joe Buckingham, 67, of Mountain View, Arkansas, was born on July 26th, 1957, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Joe Buckingham and Lillie (Lawrence) Buckingham. He left his life on earth on December 25th, 2024, in his home, in Mountain View, Arkansas. He leaves behind many cherished memories.
Rick was of the Christian faith and attended church when he had the opportunity. Rick enjoyed spending time with his Grandson Dax, deer hunting with his brother Dan and spending time with his other family members. In his younger years he thoroughly enjoyed playing baseball and football. He loved to ride motorcycles, spend time outdoors and eat delightful home cooked food.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents Joe L. Buckingham, Lillie Mae (Lawrence) Buckingham, Grandparents Wiley and Bessie Buckingham and Grandmother Jennie Fitzhugh.
Left to cherish his memory are his oldest son, Brad Buckingham of Batesville, Arkansas, Daughter Angie (Willis) Johnson of Sherwood, Arkansas and Youngest Son, Adam Vandergrift of Harrison, Arkansas, one Grandson Dax Johnson of Sherwood, Arkansas; one brother Dan (Alice) Buckingham of Mountain View, Arkansas, Nieces, Krista (Josh) Weese of Mountain View, Arkansas, Kerion (Dee) Green of Onia, Arkansas , Cheyenne (Morgan) Mills of Mountain View, Arkansas; Great Niece, Kendall Green of Onia, Arkansas, Great Nephew Karsyn Weese of Mountain View, Arkansas, Great Nephew Dakota Green of Onia, Arkansas, Great Nephew Landon McMurray of Mountain View, Arkansas, Great Niece Kimber Mills of Mountain View, Arkansas, along with other family members and friends. All his family and friends will greatly miss him.
A visitation will be held Sunday, December 29th, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 30th, 2024, at Levisy Flat Cemetery, beginning at 11:00 am. Brother Darrell Gosser will officiate the service.
Pallbearers are Dan Buckingham, Ricky Beach, Brad Buckingham, Adam Vandergrift, Donnie Lancaster, and Morgan Mills.
Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Weese, Dee Green, and Willis Johnson.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
