William Eugene Henson, 62 of Waldenburg, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. William was born July 15, 1962, in Jonesboro, Arkansas the son of William E. and Hazel (Pierce) Henson and his mother preceded him in death. William served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Waldenburg City Council and Weiner Fire Department for 20 years. He worked at Poinsett Rice & Grain in Waldenburg. He is survived by his father, William E. Henson of Vine Grove, Kentucky, three sons: Jeremy McKenzie, Robert Copeland, and William Henson, two daughters: Ashley Trapp and Nicole Hahn, two sisters: Connie Henson and Sandy Henson, 4 grandchildren: Alexander McKenzie, Josie Trapp, Hadley Trapp, and Charles Hahn. Cremation has been chosen as the final disposition by the family. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
