A Stone County man, charged in White County Circuit Court with four counts of rape and two counts of second-degree sexual assault, has been arrested.
Jason William Gude (pictured below), 37, of Fox, was arrested Dec. 31, 2024, on the charges that stemmed from allegations he engaged in sexual activity with two minors “between the ages of 6 and 13” during a period from 2010 through 2021.
Court documents said the alleged activity occurred while Gude was the minors’ guardian at residences in Beebe and Searcy. In an interview with the White County Sheriff’s Office, Gude denied the allegations.
Gude is being held in the White County Detention Center on a bond of $350,000. A court appearance is set for Feb. 4.
