Mildred Lowetta (Hamilton) Raines, 75, of Weiner, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, January 2, 2025 at NEA Baptist Hospital of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mildred was born January 10, 1949 in Monette, Arkansas, the daughter of George and Mary Marie (Stone) Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Paul Raines, one son, Timmy Raines, three sisters: Lucille Crawford, Georgia Howard, and Judy Moore. She was of the Baptist faith and a caretaker for 30 years. She is survived by one son, David Raines of Weiner, one brother, Rick Leonard Hamilton of Leachville, Arkansas, 5 sisters: Shelia Key of Manila, Arkansas, Carolyn Sue Smith of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Martha Higginbotham also of Harrisburg, Shirley Howard of Oklahoma, and Bonnie Morris of Harrisburg. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. and Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jeff Miles will conduct the service. Cremation has been chosen by the family as final disposition. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
