The Independence County Broadband Committee has announced a community meeting to discuss high-speed broadband development for the Cedar Ridge area. The meeting will take place today at 4 p.m. at Cedar Ridge High School.
The event will feature a representative from a company that has recently been awarded federal funding to bring high-speed internet to the region. Alecia Shannon of Resound Networks will provide an overview of the company’s plans to offer broadband expansion in Cedar Ridge.
