Myrtle Smith Tosh, 95, of Batesville, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
She was born October 14, 192,9 in Batesville to Leonard Jason Smith and Anna Myrtle (Wink) Smith.
Myrtle was a loving and considerate woman who enjoyed cooking and baking chocolate oatmeal cookies, especially for her grandkids. She worked as a sales clerk and bookkeeper for several furniture stores including Roberts Furniture and Batesville Furniture. She loved going to yard sales, and collecting antique glassware.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Tosh of Batesville; one sister, Sue Wright (Tommy) of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jason Tosh (Kari), Jody Tosh (Kandy), Eric Tosh, Eli Tosh (Meleah), Jennifer Bradley (Mark); twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Cleo Tosh; one son, Lynn Tosh; two brothers, Wilbur and Aubrey Smith, and one sister, Levana Clark.
Pallbearers are her grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at New Hope Cemetery following the visitation.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
