James Austin Hogan Jr. 68, of Batesville, departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at the Springs of Batesville. He was born in Evanston, Illinois, to James Austin Hogan, Sr. and Anne Carson on April 28, 1956.
He loved his family and had a strong Catholic faith.
During his working years, he worked in the sanitation department. He was a very big Cubs baseball fan and loved to listen to all different kinds of music.
Left to cherish his memory is his son. James Austin Hogan, lll; his sisters, Mary (Bob) Fritz, Vera (Pat) Nugent, Mildred (Terry) Jeneski, Margaret (Jeff) Driscol, Jean (Jim) Bernacchi, Katie (Tom) Samples; nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Austin Hogan, Sr. and Anne Carson.
