Nellie Geneva Trammell, 92, of Timbo, Arkansas, passed away on January 7th, 2025, at The Blossoms Nursing Home, in Mountain View, Arkansas. She was born November 23rd, 1932, in Fifty-Six, Arkansas, to Newton and Stella (Balentine) Zinn.

Nellie was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. More than anything she loved God and going to church when she was able. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with family, spoiling her grandkids, helping people, taking care of her cats, and gardening. Nellie simply enjoyed being out and loved staying busy. She was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Newton and Stella Zinn; loving husband, J.D. Trammell; one brother, Enoch Zinn; two sisters, Virgie Keller and Hazel Rose; and one grandson, Daniel Partee.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, JL (Nanette) Trammell of West Virginia, Anna Huckabay of Mountain View, JW (Donna) Trammell of West Virginia, and David Trammell of West Virginia; two sisters, Helen Trammell of Newnata and Lottie Winn of Springdale. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, beginning at 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. Brother Gary Don Fletcher and Brother Randy Zinn will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Big Springs Cemetery, in Newnata, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Josh Trammell, Tony Trammell, Danny Trammell, Dwight Trammell, Timmy Woody, and Brian Treat.

Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Trammell, Donald Trammell, Robert Treat, Samuel Treat, and Gabrielle Treat.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Service.
