Vickie Black, 72, of Newport, passed from this life on January 17, 2025, in Newport. She was born June 28, 1952, in Burbank, California, to Oscar and Alberta Mallory.
Vickie dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse for several years. She was of the Baptist faith and had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and the vibrant energy of the nightlife.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Black; and three brothers, Gary, Ron, and Eddie Mallory.
Vickie is survived by her son, Randy Mallory, of Missouri; her sister, Penny Carter, of California; five grandchildren; and three cherished friends, Debbie Dubroc, Pamela Simons, and Robert Simons.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Vickie’s caring heart and lively spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
