The White River Health Foundation announced last week that the Bank of Cave City has donated $100,000 to support the expansion of the White River Health Oncology and Infusion Center.
In a statement, the foundation praised the bank’s generosity, saying, “Their commitment to our community will have a meaningful and lasting impact, helping White River Health provide enhanced care and treatment close to home.”
The Bank of Cave City also highlighted its dedication to local healthcare in a social media post.
“This investment will help expand oncology services to everyone in our service area, ensuring that our community receives the best possible care locally,” the bank said. “We are proud to empower our hometown healthcare heroes and our neighbors.”
The White River Health Foundation expressed gratitude for the bank’s support of its mission to build a healthier future for the community.
When the expansion was announced in 2023, White River Health said the project would address “the critical need for more treatment space, privacy for patients and families, nutritional support, upgrades to the oncology pharmacy, and nurse workspace.”
