Charles Lawrence Campbell II, 44, passed away on February 1, 2025, in Batesville, AR. He was born on March 21, 1980, in Newport, AR, to Charles Lawrence Campbell and Alberta (Holt) Barber. Charlie was a Godly man, who could often be found witnessing to everyone he met. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was generous and loving, with the biggest heart. Charlie was always willing to do what God called him to do, often going out of his way to care for others. He touched a lot of lives during his time on Earth. His wife and kids were his whole world and often enjoyed the time they spent together hunting and fishing. He loved his three weenie babies and was always teasing everyone. Charlie’s best friend was Jacob Clark, and they did everything together. He was a 1998 graduate of Sulphur Rock High School and a diesel mechanic by trade. Charlie enjoyed all things outdoors, square body Chevys, old Peterbilts, and his guns. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
Charlie is survived by his wife of twenty years, Annah Campbell; parents, Charles Lawrence Campbell and Alberta Barber; stepmother, Devonne Campbell; son, Clayton Fisher Campbell; daughter, Leilah McKenzie Campbell; stepbrother, Brock Avery; and mother-in-law, Debra Holt. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hollis and Claudia Campbell; maternal grandparents, C.W. and Pearl Holt; and father-in-law, Scottie Holt.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at Newark Southern Baptist Church on Saturday, February 8, 2025, starting at Noon.
