Ernest Harold Lance, 87, of Saffell passed away on February 5, 2025, in Saffell. He was born January 26, 193,8 in Saffell to Ernie and Verna Lance. He was a cattle farmer, a member of the Arkansas Cattleman’s Association, and a member of the Saffell Fire Department. He enjoyed farming, being outside working, mowing the yard, playing with the grandkids, picking pecans, driving the school bus, and being Chief of the Saffell Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Evelyn Kennedy Lance.
Survivors include one son, Kerry Lance; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Union Cemetery in Saffell with Bro. Remil Layton officiating.
Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will begin Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Eric Bryd, Trevor Langston, James Blevins, Cameron Cathey, Kenny Morris, and Rob Lance.
