Cynthia Ann Northcutt (Tims), 72, of Cord, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Batesville. She was born on April 30, 1952 in Newport, Arkansas, the daughter of AC and Mary (Batchelor) Tims.
Cindy was a 1970 graduate of Tuckerman High School. She began working with her father at Penix Motor Company, then worked as a Warranty Manager for George Kell Motors and Independence Ford in Batesville until her retirement.
Cindy was a huge supporter of Arkansas Children’s Hospital, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, One Heart Ministries Memphis, and Tunnel to Towers Foundation. She enjoyed sewing masks and head wraps for those in need. Cindy also enjoyed baking for friends, neighbors, and her medical care teams.
Cindy loved her family fiercely and spent many hours with her young grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching them play sports through the years when her health allowed.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Albert and Asellee (Taylor) Tims, and John and Ethel (Taylor) Batchelor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Northcutt, of the home; her three children, Rachael Fisher of Sulphur Rock, Michael Northcutt of Cord, and Celia Miller and husband, B.J. of Cord; her grandchildren, Kyler Crabtree, Nicholas Fisher, Wyatt Northcutt, Jalen Northcutt, Addyson Fisher, and Londyn Miller; two sisters, Mary Louise (Tims) Richardson and Rebecca Jane (Tims) Miller; and a lifetime of friends.
The family offers many thanks to the healthcare providers who have cared for her through the years. Special thanks to Dr. Doreen Kamoga for your friendship and care.
Graveside Services are at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hopewell Cemetery with Mr. C.T. Thomas officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Artie Thompson and Trey Hare.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charitable organization listed above.
