Kimberly Wilson, 64, of Newport, passed from this life on February 1, 2025. She was born in Newport on July 28, 1960, to William George and Edna Marie (Riggs) Wright.
Kimberly had a kind and loving spirit that brightened the lives of those around her. She found great joy in flower gardening, creating beauty wherever she went. She also loved playing Monopoly Go, sharing laughter and fun with family and friends. Baking cakes was one of her favorite pastimes, and she took pride in making delicious treats for her loved ones. Her greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with her grandchildren, watching movies together and making lasting memories.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her warmth and love will be deeply missed.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommy Wilson; her brother, James Allen; and her sister, Sharon Allen.
She leaves behind her sons, Scott Wilson of Newport, and Jason Riggs and wife Shylee of Popular Bluff, Missouri; her daughter-in-law, Cassie Wilson, who she loved like her own; her brothers, George William Wright, John Troy Allen, and Jay Allen all of Dallas, Texas; her sisters, Seytha Stegall, Debbie Spearman, Shirley Love, Jackie Lynn Setter, Debra Allen, Brenda Allen all of Dallas Texas; her grandchildren, Liberty Yvette Wilson, Randolph Scott Wilson Jr., Amelia Dane Rose Wilson, Constance Ellen Grace Wilson, Mason Alexander Morris, Mathew Riggs, Josh Riggs, Peyton Riggs, and Jaycee Riggs; her great-grandchildren, Autumn Whitworth and Amora Whitworth, friend, Mary Donaldson, and many dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
