Billy Faye “Meme” Trammell, 72, of Mountain View, Arkansas left her earthly home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2025.
Billy Faye was born on July 2, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Billy Wayne and Elsie Dean Barker. She was a talented cook who brought her love and passion for cooking to various restaurants in Mountain View. She later started her career at Wal-Mart, where she worked until her retirement. Meme was also a talented seamstress, and her handmade creations will be forever cherished by those lucky enough to have received them. She and her infectious laugh will forever be missed, for she was loved deeply by many.
Billy Faye is survived by her three daughters: Gerri Pallay and husband Tim of North Carolina, Kristie Broyles and husband Bob of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, and Melissa Turner of Cabot, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Samantha Ashley and husband Justin, Derek Broyles, Blake Martinez, Allison Martinez, and Asher Turner; two great-grandchildren: Sophie Ashley and Ellie Ashley; four brothers: Jackie Barker and wife Martha of Roanoke, Virginia, Terry Barker and wife Renee of Sherwood, Arkansas, Steve Barker and wife Gale of Cabot, Arkansas, Kevin Barker and wife Sheila of Cabot, Arkansas and one brother-in-law: Reuben Balentine of Mountain View, Arkansas. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Billy Wayne Barker and Elsie Dean Barker; two brothers: Gary Barker and Dannie Barker and one sister: Dinah Balentine.
A visitation will be held at Siloam Fellowship in Mountain View, Arkansas on Saturday, February 22nd from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. A memorial service will immediately follow from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The service will be officiated by Brother Derek Broyles and Brother Bob Broyles.
Honorary pallbearers are Blake Martinez, Asher Turner, Heath Barker, Garrett Wayne Barker, and Justin Ashley.
