
Joanne (Coots) Pyle of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born March 15, 1956, in Trumann, Arkansas, the daughter of Leuza “Boot” and Wanda Lee (Reeves) Coots.
Mrs. Pyle was a graduate of Trumann High School. She spent many years working in the factory until her health declined. She was of the Christian belief. Miss Coots married the love of her life, Mr. Richard Pyle, on August 2, 1985, and together they’ve built a beautiful life for their family.
Mrs. Pyle loved singing, especially singing karaoke with her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and farming alongside her family. She also enjoyed watching true crime documentaries. She will be remembered for her love of helping others.
Mrs. Pyle is preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Coots; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Richard Pyle, of the home; her son, Greg Barnes, of Newport; two brothers, Steve Coots and wife, Brenda, and Terry Coots, all of Trumann; a sister, Cathy Shaw and husband, Randy, of Trumann; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at Jackson’s Funeral Home, beginning at 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
