The Adventure First Travel Club of First Community Bank, in collaboration with the Batesville Community Theatre (BCT), is offering a “Spotlight on Broadway” tour from Nov. 4-9.
Reservations are open for the trip, which includes five Broadway productions and the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall featuring the Rockettes on the final day.
The Travel Club partnered with Collette Travel to design the tour. First Community Bank and BCT encourage aspiring actors, stage personnel, and others interested in New York’s theater scene to reserve a spot.
The itinerary includes an acting workshop with Broadway professionals, a private tour of The Hudson Theatre, and a visit to the Museum of Broadway, an interactive museum that explores the history of Broadway.
A panoramic bus tour of New York City is also included, with free time for participants to explore Central Park, Fifth Avenue department stores, and museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim Museum.
The cost of the tour includes round-trip airfare from Little Rock, motorcoach transfer from Batesville to the Little Rock airport, hotel accommodations in Times Square, and seven meals, including welcome and farewell dinners. The price is $4,899 per person based on double occupancy and $5,999 for single travelers.
