Lyon College in Batesville will host its spring 2025 Career Expo on March 4, providing students, alumni, and community members an opportunity to connect with employers and graduate programs.
The event, organized by the Lyon College Center for Career and Professional Development, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Becknell Gymnasium at the Garner Student Recreation Center on campus. More than 30 companies and organizations are expected to participate.
“We’re excited to welcome employer representatives back to campus to connect with our students, faculty, and community,” said Patrick Lynch, director of the Center for Career and Professional Development. “With demand for talent at an all-time high, employers are eager to engage with the Lyon College community.”
Attendees are encouraged to prepare by updating their resumes and LinkedIn profiles, researching potential employers, and practicing interview techniques. The Lyon College Marketing and Communications department will provide complimentary professional photographs for LinkedIn profiles.
The Center for Career and Professional Development offers year-round support to students seeking internships and full-time employment, providing career coaching, resume workshops, and interview training.
Employers interested in participating in the event can contact Lynch at Patrick.Lynch@Lyon.edu or (870) 307-7227.
