
Carroll Verdon Pace, 81, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away March 1st, 2025, at The Blossoms Nursing Home, peacefully. He was born January 10th, 1944, to William and Irene (Tuttle) Pace, in Julesburg, Colorado.
Carroll was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart. He earned two Master’s Degrees from the University of Nebraska, one in computer science and the other in education. He retired from North High School, in Omaha, Nebraska, as a shop teacher. He enjoyed going to church, playing his homemade instruments, woodworking, camping, traveling, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Irene Pace; one sister, Karen Pace.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Laurel Pace of the home; three children, JoDel (Skip) Clifton of Norman, Oklahoma, Jim Pace of Mountain View, Arkansas, and J.D. (Katie) Pace of Belleview, Nebraska. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm, with Brother Rob Arnold officiating the service.
