J.W. Qualls, 82, of Batesville passed away March 9, 2025 in Batesville. He was born February 21, 1943 in Evening Shade to Jewel and Opal (Ring) Qualls. He retired after over 30 years of service as Dayshift Superintendent at ConAgra. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his dog, Tojo, and tinkering in his shop.

He is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Donna Mae Cole; his wife, Deloris Qualls; his companion of twenty years, Donnie Ring; one brother, Tom Qualls; and one infant sister, Barbara Qualls.

Survivors include two sons, Joey Qualls (Rachell) of Cave City and Jermey Qualls (Ivy) of Cleveland, AL; two daughters, Kim Arnold (Chris) of Sidney and Dedra Thompson (Rob) of Cave City; one sister, Anna Joyce Webb (Richard) of Clinton; two half brothers, Tony Qualls (Tracy) of Mammoth Spring and Stanley Qualls of Ozark Acres; two half sisters, Sandra Linderman (Terry) of Ozark Acres and Ann Wood of Hardy; Donnie’s children, Vickie Addison (Bruce) of Rogers and Rickey Ring (Angela) of Cave City; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glen McKay officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 12, 2025, 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Trey Thompson, Joey Qualls, Jermey Qualls, Caleb Qualls, Chris Watkins, and Robin Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are Sonny Cole, Jeff Qualls, Rickey Ring, and Josh Landers.

The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care for their wonderful service and care.
