Friday, March 14, 2025, 11:30 p.m. — Severe storms swept through the region Friday night, downing trees, damaging homes, and trapping residents, according to emergency reports.
Fallen trees were reported on Harmontown Road, Coon Creek Road, and Claxton Loop. In Cushman and Cave City, emergency officials responded to reports of storm-related damage.
Scanner traffic indicated a mobile home on Claxton Loop lost its roof, though the resident inside was unharmed. Authorities also received a call from a resident trapped inside a home on Claxton Loop Road, reporting injuries.
Emergency command centers have been established at the Cushman Dollar General and the Cave City Fire Department in response to the damage.
