Anthony Wayne Galloway, 83, of Batesville passed away on March 14, 2025, at Batesville. He was born July 30, 1941, at Batesville to Paul and Mildred Galloway.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a GenCorp employee and a member of the Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. After retirement, he enjoyed trading and selling guns in his business, “Andy’s Ole Gun Store”. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, deer hunting, family and church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Aubrey Galloway, J.B. Galloway, and Billy Galloway, and one sister; Mary Rosencrantz.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Linda Galloway of the home, daughters Andrea Duncan (Philip) of Batesville and Debbie Rappold (Scott) of Vilonia; sister Jimmie Smith of Michigan, two sister-n-laws Jean Magouyrk and Vida Young; four brother-n-laws, Roy Cartwright (Vanita), Charlie Cartwright (Jeanette), Jimmy Cartwright (Louise), and Larry Cartwright (Nona); five grandchildren; Nathan Rappold (Alyssa), Lauren Rappold, Ethan Rappold, Payton Duncan, and Preslie Duncan, two great-grandchildren; Oaklynn Rappold and Ashlynn Rapold; and many nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Landers officiating.

Burial will follow at the Egner Cemetery located in Salado.

Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be David Cartwright, Mark Cartwright, Aaron Cartwright, Jeff Stubbs, Tim Reed, and Steve Moore.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Cartwright, Charlie Cartwright, and Jimmy Cartwright, and Bobby Smith, and Joe McDougal.
