Katrina Yolonda Gillespie, 44, of Newport, departed this life on March 14, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 10, 1980, in Newport, Arkansas, to Thomas D. Artis Moore, Sr., and Cherrie Gillespie.
Katrina was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Diaz and lived her life with confidence, grace, and a radiant spirit. She had a passion for shopping, interior design, and makeup, always expressing her creativity through beauty and fashion. She embraced life as a true Beauty Queen, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She also loved dining out and spending time with her family and friends, cherishing every opportunity to create special memories. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Katrina is survived by her father, Thomas D. Artis Moore, Sr. and wife Brenda Faye of Jonesboro; her mother, Cherrie Gillespie of Newport; her brothers, Finnis Gillespie (Kaylee) of Jonesboro, and Thomas D. Artis Moore, Jr. (Quineisha Robinson) of Jonesboro; her sister, Nykea Gillespie of Benton; her aunt, Christine Chaddrick (Rod) of San Antonio, Texas; her uncles, Larry Moore (Christy) of Cordova, Tennessee, Willie Moore (Linda) of Weiner, Stanley Moore of Weiner, James Moore of Weiner, Charles Coleman of Weiner, and Therma Edward Moore (Till) of Blytheville; ten nieces and nephews; Isabella Gillespie of Jonesboro, Kobe Gillespie of Jonesboro, Thomas D. Artis Moore III of Jonesboro, Takayla Moore of Jonesboro, Tristan Moore of Jonesboro, Melody Moore of Jonesboro, Tyler Moore of Jonesboro, Brielle Moore of Jonesboro, Brendan Hill of Benton, Bayleigh Hill of Benton.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Cobblestone Hotel and Suites in Newport Arkansas
