Ruby (Counce) Phillips, 66, of Marked, Arkansas departed this life Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Ruby was born in West Memphis, Arkansas on April 20, 1958, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Brown) Counce. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Phillips, one daughter, Regena Lindley,and three brothers: Edgar, Charles Alford, and Robert Hale, also preceded in death by her sisters in heart, Brenda McCain and Shelia Hargo. She is survived by one daughter, Misty (Allen) Armesteadt of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one brother, Billy Counce of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two sisters: Martha (Larry) Mills of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Virginia Dawson, three grandchildren: Miles Meredith, Matthew Meredith, and Maisy Fleming, two great ~ grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Ruby is also survived by her sisters in heart: Carol Miles, Regina Ivy, and Jan Goodson. She enjoyed spending her free time with friends, and family, and helping those in need. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ruby’s good neighbor and friend Jennifer Goodwin along with Melba Walker, Michael Skipper and Misty Conatser for all their help and support. Cremation has been chosen by the family as the final disposition. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in her honor to: Three River Food Pantry 802 Liberty Street Marked Tree, AR 72365. She spent so much of her time giving back to her community.
