
Glenda Ruth Bartlett Martz Tedder, 80, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, surrounded by her family.
Glenda was born in Center Ridge, Arkansas on December 13, 1944, to the late Thurman Bartlett and Zella Watkins Bartlett Scroggins.
Glenda graduated from the Little Rock School for the Deaf in 1965, a longstanding member of the Arkansas Association of the Deaf, and was retired from the International Shoe Company in Batesville, Arkansas. Glenda was a fun-loving, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joys were her family. She was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, enjoyed socializing with her many friends, and following her family’s activities on social media.
Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Wallace Tedder, whom she married on October 30, 2005, sons Gary Lynn Martz and his wife Delisa, Kevin Joe Martz, and bonus sons Jeff, Jeremy and Joshua Tedder and his wife Jennifer, thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Martz, Cody Martz, Dakota Martz, Andrew Cooper, Jimmy Hansen, and Jared Webb. Honorary pallbearers are the classmates of Lynn and Kevin whom she cherished and loved as much as she did her own children.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville, with Curt Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery near Saffell, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday, April 2, 2025, prior to service at the funeral home.
Glenda’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
