Dorothy Mae Reed, 79, of Saffell passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Saffell. She was born August 20, 1945, at Swifton to Cleo Ivy and Wanda Lee (Harring) Huskey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, gardening, her beautiful flowers, family, holidays and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Norman Reed; her sister, Mae Huskey and her brother, Tony Huskey.
Survivors include two sons, Norman Lavon Reed (Phat) of Cadiz, KY, Ricky Don Reed of Oak Grove, KY; one daughter, Melissa Mae Callahan (Danny) of Saffell; two grandchildren, Dusty Northcutt of the Ozarks, Haley Callahan of Salem; five great grandchildren, Clayton Darrell Northcut, Roper Ryan Callahan, Daisy Mae Dixon, Wyatt Michael Hilton, Paisley Lynn Hilton along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Saffell with Bro. John Cross officiating. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Ward Cemetery in Saffell.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Saffell.
Pallbearers will be Danny, Roper, Wyatt, Kenny and Jody.
