Donna Lynn Cagle, 60, of Augusta, passed from this life on April 15, 2025. She was born in Newport on March 12, 1965, to John Edward and Ida Mae (Miller) Chessher.
Donna was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose kind heart and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was known for her love of music, often found playing the piano or singing with a voice that brought comfort and joy to those around her.
She attended the Assembly of God Church and was a woman of deep faith and devotion. Donna retired from her career as a tax accountant, a field in which she served her clients with dedication and integrity.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stan Cagle; and her two brothers, Jimmy Jones and Bobby Jones.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Jessica Misenheimer of Florida; her grandchildren, Dillon, Chase, Chance, and Shelvia Misenheimer, all of Cabot; her brother, Johnny Chessher and wife Gail of Newport; her sisters, Patricia Anderson of Augusta and Rebecca Sherman and husband Buddy of Batesville; a special nephew, Zachary Anderson of Bald Knob; and many dear friends who will miss her deeply
Service will be at noon on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Zachary Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
