Marilyn Nadine (Woods) Sloas, 73 of Heber Springs, Arkansas, departed this life Tuesday, April 15, 202,5 at The Springs in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Nadine was born October 23, 1951, in Wynne, Arkansas, the daughter of Verser and Vera (Freeman) Woods. Nadine married Rayburn Sloas on June 17, 1972, and they enjoyed 32 years before his passing in 2005. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg, enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Darlene Woods. Nadine was a homemaker, worked some years at American Greetings in Harrisburg, also worked at Holiday Inn Express before retiring. She is survived by her son, Darrin Sloas of Heber Springs, Arkansas, one daughter, Marilyn Jo (Michael) Johnson of Eureka Springs, two brothers: James Alton Woods of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Donnie Woods of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Cremation has been chosen as the final disposition by the family. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
