Thomas Edmond Inman, 74, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, in Batesville, AR. He was born on October 15, 1950, in Jamestown, AR, to the late Henry Edmond Inman and Addie Marie (Phillips) Inman. Tom was a graduate of Desha High School in 1970, a member of Concord United Methodist Church, and served his country in the United States Army. Tom married Judy Glenn on June 23, 1973. Just one year after getting married, he was saved and baptized. Tom never strayed from his faith, and he never missed church until he wasn’t able to attend services anymore. Once that happened, their pastor mailed a printed message to them, and Judy would read the message and scriptures to him every Sunday. He worked thirty-five years at the Highway Department, was a chairman on the board at Jamestown United Methodist Church for thirty years, and was a Farm Bureau Board Member as well.

Tom leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love. To know him was to love and respect him. He had a huge heart. He loved to hunt and fish, both of which he shared with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed farming and taking care of his cattle, which were his babies. He was soft-spoken, but if you listened close enough, he was not only full of good advice but witty and funny. He had an ornery side and didn’t hesitate to let that show either. Tom was proud of his family and his farm and was sure to tell everyone he could about the value of hard work. He instilled these many values in his family as well. Tom will be missed by all those honored to know him.

Tom is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Judy Ilene (Glenn) Inman of Batesville, AR; son, Thomas Glenn Inman of Batesville, AR; daughter, Amanda Ilene Inman of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Korbin Faithe Inman and Thomas Blain Inman, both of Batesville, AR; brothers, James Inman (Judy) of Batesville, AR and Keith Inman of Batesville, AR; sisters, Nora McClain of Batesville, AR,  Janie Barber of Batesville, AR, Marsha Sutterfield (Mike) of Cabot, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joy Hodge.

There will be a visitation held at Willis Funeral Service chapel on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 6 PM until 8 PM. The funeral service, officiated by Brother Jim Wheeler, will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Willis Funeral Service chapel beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Kyler Cemetery in Southside, AR. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Tommy Inman, Jamie Richardson, Lynn Holt, Andrew Bullard, Joey Barber, and Jeremiah Phillips.
