Marilou Chambliss, 86, of Thida passed away Sunday, April 20, at her home. She was born on May 20, 1938, in Dearborn, Michigan, to William Alvin and Eva Agnes (Parks) Aubill. Mrs. Chambliss was a member of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She loved playing the piano, photography, cooking, and painting and color by numbers. She played the piano at church for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, Cleveland Winfred Chambliss, one daughter, Penny Chambliss, one brother, George Aubill, and one sister, Audrey Simanton.
Mrs. Chambliss is survived by her daughter; Terri Lynn Chambliss of Monroe, Louisiana, brother; Jack Aubill of Michigan, six grandchildren: Clint Andrew Chambliss and wife Elizabeth of Kansas City, Missouri, Casey Chambliss and wife Kayla of Russellville, Aarron Chambliss of Batesville, Eva Chambliss of Searcy, Jessie Domigues of Batesville, and Kenan Domigues of Batesville, two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Brown’s Memorial Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Randall Gilbert officiating.
