Cleo Mae Lawson Dargis, 76, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away on February 10th, 2023, at the Stone County Medical Center.
She was born February 9th, 1947, in Salem, Illinois to Herbert Houston Allen and Carol (Floyd) Allen.
Cleo was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. No matter who she was meeting, she had a big smile for everybody. She enjoyed exploring off the grid, bird watching, canoeing, going on cruises, riding four-wheelers, cooking, and simply spending time with family and friends. She was adored by many and will be greatly missed.
Cleo is survived by her two loving children, Carma Jackson (Michael) of Mountain View, Arkansas and David Lawson (Cassandra) of Bothell, Washington; one brother, Gary Allen (Juanita) of Palmyra, Missouri; four grandchildren, Cayla Sanders of Mountain View, Arkansas, Joseph Lawson of Bothell, Washington, Hunter Stickles of Bothell, Washington, and Ethan Jackson of West Memphis, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Finley Stickles of Bothell Washington. Cleo is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Carol Allen; two loving husbands, Joseph Lawson and Stanley Dargis; one brother, Wayne Allen.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Mountain View Funeral Service Chapel. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 16th, 2023, beginning at 2:00 pm, at the Fakes Cemetery, in McCrory, Arkansas, with Brother Greg Dewitt officiating.
