A 23-year-old Harrisburg man was killed in a one-vehicle accident late Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Arkansas State Police Fatality Report, Bo Garrett Self died when his eastbound 2009 Ford Focus crossed the center line and traveled into the westbound lane of traffic on State Highway 18 in rural Jackson County. The report noted Self’s Ford then left the roadway and came to rest upside down in a westbound roadside ditch.
The report said the road condition was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the accident, which was listed as 5:50 p.m.
The accident was the 104th fatality on Arkansas roads this year.
