Jerry Ferguson, 85, of Salado passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in Pleasant Plains. He was born November 24, 1937, in Magness to Joseph and Beulah Ferguson. He was a former employee of GDX of Batesville. He enjoyed gardening, watching westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Lou Neeley as well as half-brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Ferguson of the home; three daughters, Pat Ferguson, Teresia McGhee and Donna Lynn Holder; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Johnny Abbott officiating.
Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located in Salado
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Bryson Huckabee, Austin Mathis, Bryce Hoofman, Nate Marsh, Greg Huckabee and Ronnie Brister, Jr.
Tyler Huckabee will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer
