James Edwin Lord, 88, of Timbo, Arkansas, passed away on May 25th, 2023, at his beloved home. He was born August 22nd, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois to Clyde Ray Lord and Roselee (Crispe) Lord.

James was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church. James served his country for four years in the United States Air Force. He was a former member of the Masons and a current member of the Sons of American Revolution. He enjoyed drawing cartoon characters, writing poetry, fishing, attending church, reading his bible, and conducting bible studies. Many people loved him and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory, is his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Evelyn Janette (Jan) Lord of Timbo, Arkansas; one twin brother, Jerome William Lord of Timbo, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Roselee Lord; two twin brothers, Daniel Clyde Lord and Donald Ray Lord.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at the Blue Mountain Cemetery, beginning at 11:00 am. Brother Danny Robbins will officiate the service.
