Obituary: Sandra Gaye Morley Younger

Sandra Gaye Morley Younger, 79, of Marcella passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Marcella, AR. She was born October 15, 1943, in Benton Harbor, MI to William and Elnora Morley. She was retired from White Rogers in Batesville and a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Sandra loved her two cats, her family and most of all, God.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sidney Younger; and two grandchildren, Timothy David Younger and Christy Tate.

She is survived by her sons, David Younger (Rebecca) and Daniel Younger (Christy); daughters, Marsha Thomas (Randy) of Batesville, Marie Little (Ray) of Batesville and May Younger of Marcella; a brother, Frances Eugene Morley (Sharon) of Michigan; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery located in St. James, AR with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Younger, Trent Younger, Bobby Sanders Jr., Terry Younger, Rayden Hale and Sidney Younger.

Honorary pallbearers are Josh Younger, David Younger and Tex Merritt.
