Country musician Moe Bandy (pictured above, left), who was scheduled to perform Friday night at the Independence County Fair, has been forced to cancel his show due to illness.
Replacing Bandy will be Johnny Lee (right), who is currently on his farewell tour. Lee rose to fame with the number one country hit, “Lookin’ for Love,” from the “Urban Cowboy” soundtrack. Other number-one hits from Lee include “Bet Your Heart on Me,” “One in a Million,” “The Yellow Rose,” and “You Could Have Heard a Heart Break.”
Lee’s performance will begin at 8 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Fellow country performer T. Graham Brown is scheduled to perform Saturday at 8 p.m.
