Charles Eugene Perry, 83, passed away on July 6, 2023. He was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on September 19, 1939, to Elmer and Zada Perry.
Charles was a simple man who loved dancing, riding horses, and going to the casino. He could be ornery at times, but you couldn’t help but like him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Perry and Zada (Marchant) Perry; wife, Pauline Perry; brothers, Ernest Perry, Harlin Perry, Jim Perry, and Rudolph Perry; sisters, Rose Thorn and Reathel Perry; and son-in-law, Leonard Weatherford. He is survived by his son, Douglas Perry of Batesville, Arkansas; daughters, Connie Mertz of Cave City, Arkansas, and Cheryl Phillips (Guy) of Lakeview, Oregan; sister, Willa Mae Shearer (Henry) of Georgia; grandsons, Jeremy Weatherford, Justin Phillips, and Cory Phillips; great-grandsons, Easton Phillips and Reed Weatherford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
