A 15-month-old Hot Springs child reported missing earlier this week has been found safe, and her grandmother is now in custody.

On Tuesday, a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) alert was issued for Ora Faye Richardson, who was last known to be traveling with her grandmother, possibly to Norfork, Ark.

The Hot Springs Police Department (HSPD) said Ora Faye’s mother, Cheyanne Lawrence, had left her in the care of Teresa Ann Lawrence — Cheyanne’s mother and Ora Faye’s grandmother — earlier Tuesday morning when Cheyanne left for work. Later that day, Cheyanne Lawrence’s father called his daughter to say Teresa Lawrence was on her way with Ora Faye to their Norfork home. The BOLO was then issued later Tuesday evening.

On Wednesday, Teresa’s vehicle was discovered in Stone County, and Ora Faye was safely located.

Teresa Ann Lawrence, 56, of Norfork, was booked into the Stone County Jail around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and released to Hot Springs police later that afternoon. She was booked into the Garland County Jail around 10 p.m. on a charge of interference with custody.

She was placed on a bond of $25,000 and received an Aug. 8 court date on her charge.

Note: The spelling of “Norfork” on the ASP advisory is incorrect.
