Mr. Gary Marlin Cooprider Jr., 50; of Swifton, AR departed this life Thursday July 20, 2023 in Jonesboro. Gary was born in Searcy on May 19, 1973, to Gary Marlin Cooprider, Sr. and Mildred Ruth (Henson) Cooprider.
Gary enjoyed watching football and was a huge Arkansas Razorback fan. He enjoyed the great outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing. He also enjoyed watching television and keeping up with his favorite soap opera, All My Children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Cooprider; his son, Gary Marlin Cooprider III; his brother, Jeremy Askins and his grandparents, Alvin and Cordia (Bailey) Cooprider.
He is survived by his son, Kyle Cooprider of Swifton; his daughter, Morgan Hutchinson and husband Bo of Newport; his grandchildren, Sophia Hutchinson of Newport, Blize Hutchinson of Newport and Luka Cooprider of Newport; his father, Gary Cooprider Sr. of Swifton, his aunt, Freda Bates-Miller of Newport, his brothers, Bailey Chavez of Tuckerman and Adam Cooprider of Swifton; his mother-in-law, Brenda Whitehurst and husband David of Judsonia; his wife, LeAnn Cooprider of Searcy and several beloved aunts, uncles and acquaintances.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 Saturday, July 29, at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at a later date.
