Paula K. Phillips, 76, of Onia, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at her home. Paula was born Monday, November 25, 1946, in Storm Lake, Iowa to the late Paul Nixon and Imogene Andersen Nixon.
Mrs. Phillips attended beauty school in Sioux City, Iowa and was successful at it in Storm Lake, Iowa. She worked for Wal-Mart in Mountain View, Arkansas for over twenty years as a customer service representative. Paula enjoyed crocheting, loved animals, (particularly her donkey), and loved the mountains and her family very much.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Nicholas Phillips of Springdale, Arkansas, and Matthew Phillips (Beverly Jones) of Onia, Arkansas; one daughter, Lydia Sartain of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Oliver, Ethan, Madison, Cassandra, Maxton, Bennett, Elias; one sister, Linda Myers (Lloyd) of Alta, Iowa; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Mark Phillips.
Funeral services for Paula will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior. Brother Junior Barham will officiate. Interment will follow at Pordue Cemetery (near Onia, AR).
