Lylamae H. Williams died on July 23, 2023, at her home in Batesville, at the age of 96 years young.
She was born September 13, 1926, in Edna, Texas to John Mack Hutcheson and Florence Marie (Glover) Hutcheson.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful people person; she loved everyone she met. Lylamae was a bookkeeper for Street Motors, Mack Farm Dairy and area Methodist Churches. She was also a member of Southside United Methodist Church and loved her church family. In her free time she enjoyed traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Firmin E. Williams and one great-grandson, Camdon Osborn.
She is survived by five children, Renee Savage (Steve) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gay Cordes of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Lila Harmon (Gordon) of Desha, Arkansas, Firmin M. Williams of the home and Margaret Quinn (Kevin) of Bella Vista, Arkansas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. William Waldrip and staff and caregivers, Breanna Ayers, Barbara Marlin, Elvie Hopkins and many other special people who enriched her life.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be private.
