Donald Ray Hill, Sr., 70, departed this life on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Bill Hill and Alta Abigail (Bradford) Hill.
During his working years, he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys when he wasn’t working as a truck driver. He loved his family and friends. Donald will be remembered as a good father, brother, and uncle.
He and Brenda Kay Anderson were married in Bakersville, California on September 4, 1970. Together they enjoyed over fifty-three years of marriage.
Donald is survived by his wife, Brenda Hill of Sidney, Arkansas; son, Donald Ray Hill, Jr.. of Sidney, Arkansas; brothers, John Hill (Joyce) of Shafter, California and Dewey (Sandra) Jessee of Shafter, California; sister, Dora Pelayo of Shafter, California, and other family members, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Dawn Michelle Hill Jeffers; sisters, Wanda Jessee and Bertha Jessee; brothers, Tommy Hill and David Hill.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Doty Southside Chapel in Southside, Arkansas with Bro. David “Doc” Spurlin officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.
Burial will follow the service in the Herman Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Freddie Jessee, Kenny Hill, Justin Adams, Jason Roberson, and Donald Hill, Jr will be pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Gracia, Jr., and Randy Anderson.
