A Mountain Home high school teacher has been arrested and is facing felony charges after alleged inappropriate contact with a student.
KAIT reports Madison Victoria Harned, 28, was arrested after Mountain Home police received a report last week of inappropriate contact between a teacher employed at Mountain Home High School and a juvenile student.
Court documents say Harned allegedly admitted to authorities to having sexual intercourse on three separate occasions with the 17-year-old juvenile in July. The documents say the juvenile also confirmed in an interview the two had intercourse on “multiple occasions throughout the month of July and August.”
KAIT says a judge found probable cause on Monday to charge Harned and ordered her to have no contact with the victim. She is currently free on a $50,000 bond, awaiting her next court appearance.
