Steven Dwain Miller, 66, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at his home. He was born March 24, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas to Oras and Ola Mae (Gammill) Miller. He was a welder and later in life was employed by Atlas Asphalt and was a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his church and his family (especially his grandchildren). He also loved his Arkansas Razorbacks.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Morris Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sylvia “Gina” Miller of the home; one son, Joe Warren and daughter-in-law Deanne Warren of Batesville, AR; two daughters, Jennifer Joyner and son-in-law, Tyler Joyner of Hernando, MS and Rachel Jackson and son in law Casey Jackson of Evening Shade, AR; one sister, Margaret Perkey and brother in law Arbra Perkey of Cave City, AR; eleven grandchildren, Kyler, A.J., Lainie, Bella, Bennett, Jet, Ty, Claire, Kate, Kit and Sawyer; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Taylor, Doyle Whitten, Taggert Morgan, Trenton Morgan, Jon Hodges and Nicholas Pugh.
