Nancy Jane Montgomery Foster,85, of Pleasant Plains passed from this life on September 11, 2023. She was born in Newport on October 4, 1937, to Jack and Faye (Blanton) Montgomery.
Nancy loved her family dearly and her most cherished memories were times spent with them. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when the whole family could gather and create more memories. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her plants. She was also a big sports fan, she especially loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Foster; her brothers, Jack Montgomery and Jim Montgomery and her sister, Sarah Montgomery Green.
She is survived by her son, David Foster (Lisa) of Pleasant Plains; her brother, Stanley Montgomery (Janet) of Bella Vista; her grandchildren, James Logan Foster (Jamie) of Pleasant Plains and Emily Ann Gill (Raymond) of Batesville; her great-grandchildren, Macie Claire Foster, Rowan Andrew Foster, Taggart William Foster, and Lyla Jane Gill.
The family would like to thank the facility of Mountain Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and care they provided for Nancy.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jamie Barber officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time. Interment will be at Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Rick Bunch, Logan Foster, Raymond Gill, Bill Bridgeman, Matt Montgomery and Kimmie Looney.
